How it works
Select apps on this site, then run the installer on your Windows PC.
Select your apps
Select from Popular apps, or search All apps by name, publisher, tag, or description.
You can select up to 200 apps. Copy the page link to keep or share your selection.
Generate the installer
Select "Generate installer". SetupForge builds an .exe file for your app list, then your browser downloads it.
The file contains installation commands. The apps are downloaded when you run it.
Run the downloaded file
Open the .exe on the Windows PC you want to set up. It installs each app through WinGet and shows the progress.
Some apps can ask for approval. If an installation fails, the installer continues with the next app. Check the log for the result.
PC requirements
- Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11.
- An internet connection while the installer runs.
- Administrator rights for apps that need them.
The installer installs WinGet first if it is missing.
The generated file is not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen can show a warning. Check that the file is the one you downloaded before you choose to run it.
How WinGet installs the apps
The installer runs a WinGet command for each selected app. WinGet uses the download address and installation options in its catalog. It can also install other software that an app needs.
The generated installer contains no app files, so it needs an internet connection each time you use it.
